Sanjay Dutt who is famous for helping out his friends got in a sticky situation when he was asked to do a guest appearance in Sunny`s 23 March 1931 Shaheed.

Dutt agreed happily but backed out at the nth hour as he realised that his other good friend Ajay Devgan too was doing a film on Bhagat Singh. He didn`t want to hurt him. Sunny understood Sanjay Dutt`s dilemma and roped in Om Puri instead.
